Formation Program
God forms
us with our cooperation. The directors of formation and the programs provide the impetus and the environment where this can take place.
An Opportunity
Candidacy provides an opportunity to share the life of the Sisters. By living and working with the Sisters in a local community, the candidate discovers what it means to be a Sister of the Sacred Hearts (2 years).
Two-year Program
Novitiate initiates the candidate into religious life and allows for continued discernment of her vocation. It focuses on a deeper understanding of vowed commitment as lived in our Congregation. The Novitiate is a two-year program and takes place in the Philippines.
A Life-long Commitment
Temporary commitment incorporates the Sister into the community through temporary vows. By living the evangelical life in the spirit and charism of the Sacred Hearts Community, the Sister deepens the lived reality of religious life consecrated to God and the service of His Church. This period lasts a minimum of six years and no more than nine. This period culminates in the profession of final vows, a life-time commitment to God, the Congregation, and the Church.
